This is my weekend uniform. Jeans, a striped tee of some sort or another and coffee. Just ask my husband. I almost failed to acquire these sweet retro kicks. I saw them on the J. Crew website and instantly LOVED them, but was waiting for them to go on sale, because I am frugal (i.e. cheap). My store didn’t carry this color, so I knew I had to order them. I noticed that they were selling out of sizes, so I bit the bullet and ordered them (at full price) but they didn’t fit. ACK. Then they were totally out of the size I needed. I had my J. Crew store search for them to no avail and I was really sad. I wasn’t ready to admit defeat so I kept searching. Let’s just say my finely honed Internet stalking skills paid off and I was able to get my size. F5. F5. F5.
I know, I didn’t cure Cancer. Finding kicks is not much of an accomplishment, but dang it, I really, really liked them. I liked them enough to pay full price and that right there is a big deal.
Where did I wear this? Running errands on Saturday. Super sexy errands like dropping off the dry cleaning and taking Jake (the dog) to the beauty parlor…
