I’ve been a big fan of J. Crew for years, but they went off on a weird tangent for a while and got away from their signature classic style. Items were cut weird, sizing was inconsistent, and quality was waning. Not every piece mind you… And I was certainly able to find things that I liked. (Where there is a will there is a way.) I just had to wade through a bunch of weirdness, inspect items, and try on a lot of stuff.
I’m happy to see that J. Crew is coming back around to its classic roots with their last few collections. I saw this dress in their last release and immediately knew that I had to give it a whirl. The cut is great. It has a forgiving waistline, a ladylike hem, and with the cap-sleeve it’s easy to layer. It’s so hard to find dresses that I can wear to the office these days. This one is a keeper.
Where did I wear this? I wore this to church. Somewhat dressy. Somewhat casual.
(Stay tuned for another look with this dress where I’ve styled it more dressy.)
Thanks for stopping by!
PS – Here’s a link to save $25.00 off a pair of M.Gemi shoes. Yes, I’m still a HUGE fan. This is my 4th pair of Felize loafers.
